When I read the Pop Culture host/producer job post for AwesomenessTV, my thought process went something like this,

"Yes!!!"
"I want to do that!!!"
"Exactly what I've been looking for..."
"We work with many of the same amazing people already!"
"For the past 6 years, I have done press junkets for Paramount, Fox, Warner Brothers,           Universal, and Focus Features. My contacts could also be useful resources for their team."
"I would love to at least meet with their team and share my ideas!"
Hi! I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Cassidy. Here's a little bit more about me...
I would be a great fit for AwesomenessTV because I recognize the importance of the audience and building a relationship with the fans. If we aren't asking the questions they want to hear then they won't keep watching. If you bring me on as a correspondent and producer, you will have a built in audience on Twitter, Facebook Fanpage, Instagram, and WhoSay. I'm a very active social media maven and it would garner more views for your shows too! It's a Win/Win for both of us.
Here is my host reel. I just cut out about 5 years worth of older footage and added all of the most recent junkets from the past year that I've been lucky enough to cover! My YouTube page also has red carpet interviews and in studio commentary from Mark at the Movies on Reelz Channel. In addition, I've covered 75 different episodes of Reality TV for AfterBuzz TV which is run by Maria Menounos from Extra.
I also freelance for ABC News Good Morning America. I have worked on many high profile location assignments for breaking national news stories. Most notably I was assigned the Edward Snowden NSA story and was in multiple locations traveling and working closely with sources (I have many good stories that came out of that assignment). My goal is to transition into a team where I can continue to write, edit, produce, and connect with the audiences. That is why I want that team to be AwesomenessTV!
I am including the above image as a glimpse of an example of what my outreach was for this past week alone. AwesomenessTV caters to a young demographic that is very active on social media. I started engaging on Twitter when I was a freshman in college, the very first year it was invented. Social Media comes naturally to me and I love it. I would bring a great sense of understanding on how to cross synergize Instagram,Twitter, and Facebook with the stories I'm creating and producing with the rest of the team. An outreach on my page of over 7 million partnered with AwesomenessTV stories would only further increase your fanbase!
The number 1 reason I want to work for you?
This is what I love more than anything else in the world. It's the passion that pushed me to me to move to NYC by myself at 17. It's the fascination that kept my studies alive when I was studying Media at Hunter College and graduating two years early to hop coasts to LA. It's the reason that my spirit lifts every time I get to talk about movies, directors, and writers with like minded individuals.

I have a strong background in entertainment reporting and professional contacts with studios and publicists all throughout the industry. I have worked both behind the camera producing and in front of the camera as an entertainment correspondent for Reelz Channel, MSN, NBC, and ABC News.
I hope the next outlet I get to meet with is AwesomenessTV! I have some ideas that I would love to share with you.

All the best,
Cassidy
